This is a professional, well put together booklet for learners to fill out during a lesson.
Each session learners are to give themselves an objective and state what they plan to achieve. The booklet has an example, some ideas of what they could write and words they could use.
This document gives learners a target as well as stretch and challenge tasks. This booklet will also show progression over 1 to 36 weeks. It is to the point and easy to fill in.
I use this for a particular group of Carpentry learners that do not have a training booklet or any other proof of progression.
Ideal for OFSTED and observations.
A session on flooring and especially upper floors. This session is ideal for all trades as they learn about the construction of buildings. Lots of activities, discussion points and tasks.
A quick stop shop for all things at height. This session includes activities, links, videos and discussion points. Ideal for any learners needing to know about access equipment such as MEWPS, scaffolding and fall arrest systems. imbedded with health and safety as well as equality and diversity.
This is a booklet for learners to fill in on the topic of Second Fix. This is ideal to cover the whole topic in instalments, in one go or as a revision activity. The booklet suits both Cskills and City & Guilds versions of the Second fix topic. The booklet is 13 pages long and can be added to a moodle or google drive type learning environment or printed out.
By completing the booklet learners should be able to state how to install doors and ironmongery, know how to fix mouldings,
know how to install service encasements and cladding and state how to install kitchen units, worktops and fitments.
I have used this booklet many times and learners seem to enjoy the scenario and the change from the usual activities I give.
Progress is the buzz word at the moment and has been for a while now. The main thing OFSTED, observers and practitioners want to witness is progression. This handy set of 7 slides are designed to cut and paste into your own presentations and act as a cross road in your session. Just pick a slide, add to your lesson to evident something has been learned.
This poster is perfect for any woodwork, carpentry and joinery workshop. Ideal if learners are required to sharpen tools such as planes and chisels. I display this poster just above the oil and diamond stones in my college workshop. You can even laminate the poster to keep clean. Poster is colourful, informative and interactive.
This is an easy to use, professional and aesthetically pleasing CPD form for you to fill in. All schools and colleges specify that you take part in staff development and that you prove it. Many establishments state you should do 32 hours of CPD. No need to add up the hours yourself this form adds it up for you. Just keep this saved and add to it when you need to, print or email when needed. Looks great in a Record of Achievement folder when on a job interview.
This is a professional PowerPoint template presentation I use for every session. It contains a timed starter activity ideal for any session, containing maths, English and a recap. The construction themed presentation also contains a page showing any school/ college news and a session objectives page. This is a great looking template which brings normality and professionalism to your presentations. It is very easy to cut and paste your presentations onto this design.
